“ Great experience! Service was fantastic. Eli was our waitress. She is very kind, attentive and helpful. Food was delicious! Fresh lobster, caught same day. I would highly recommend this family run business. ”
“ Wow! This is a place to visit if you find yourself in Alma, NB. This review is coming a day later than I wanted because we were traveling. So, I hope I remember all the details. Great seafood! I hope the pics do the menu options we had justice. PEI chowder I found heavy. Here it was very flavourful and light. I could count the scallops. We also had the cod cakes with a side of fries that were great, and the Lobster roll. Marianne, our server rounded out this experience with her wonderful attitude and east coast friendliness. She recommended the bread pudding, made by Gloria an 80 year old local baker, that was to die for good! If you are in the neighbourhood or visiting Bay of Fundy National Park, I highly recommend dropping by! ”
“ Great food, attentive service and calm and peaceful atmosphere. Loved the seafood chowder, full of fish, scallops and shrimp without a fishy tasty or a heavy sauce. Very good lobster roll on garlic toast. My wife loved her scallop appetizer in a buttery smoked salmon sauce with toasted crustini. Good rhubarb tart for dessert. Don’t miss this place. ”
“ Dinner was delicious and fresh. We asked some locals where they recommended and this was it. Lobster roll was full of meat - mussels were fresh and not over seasoned - pan formed scallops were cooked perfectly - fried fish was crispy but not greasy and a super generous portion. Waitress was absolute seasoned professional! ”
“ We tried lobster rolls and seafood chowder all over Nova Scotia and NB and Alma Boathouse beat them all!! The chowder had so much more seafood and flavor. The New England style roll was perfectly toasted and full of lobster. Every other restaurant we tried we compared to theirs and they all missed the boat. (Pun intended) I wish we lived closer, it would be a regular. ”
“ The restaurant was busy with only one server. She tried very hard to keep up but given all the people and how spread out the tables are she struggled. I would definitely recommend this place. Some tables are on the beach - so fun. The ... ”
“ Do not miss the lobster stuffed mushroom caps! Mussels were great and super reasonable. Seafood chowder was amazing. Definitely a good choice for a meal. We picked it over several other options because so many locals were there for dinner. ”
